01. Addis Ababa City Tours

Full-Day Private City Tour Of Addis Ababa A typical itinerary includes two museums—the National Museum of Ethiopia and the Ethnological Museum—two markets, including the enormous Addis Mercato, and cultural sights including Entoto Hill, St. George’s Cathedral, and Ethiopian Traditional Coffee Ceremony and folkloric dinner.

Welcome to Ethiopia, On arrival we will meet you at the airport then refresh and begin your sightseeing of Addis Ababa with a drive up to Mount Entoto for a panoramic view of Addis.

Descend down and drive to the National Museum where you will have a chance to spot the oldest hominids of the ‘Lucy’ fossil. Visit and proceed to the Holy Trinity built during WWII.

Then proceed to the Ethnographic Museum, which use to be the palace of Emperor Haile sellase later after having your lunch we will take you to one of the holiest churches of Ethiopia known as the Holi Trinity church then we will see the tombs of Emperor Haile Silase with the amazing painting of the church later after you visit the museums of this church we will wrap up you drive to Merkato, the biggest market in East Africa.

In the evening attends a folkloric dinner where you will have a chance to taste several national dishes and watch dances of the various ethnic groups of Ethiopia. The traditional coffee ceremony will also be served.  

Later you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.

02. Visiting Tigray Churches

Day 01: Arrival – Sightseeing Addis 

You will be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. Refresh and begin your sightseeing of Addis with a drive up to mount Entoto for a panoramic view of Addis. Descend down and drive to National museum where you will have a chance to spot the oldest hominids of ‘Lucy’ fossil. Visit and proceed to the Holy Trinity built during the WWII. Then proceed to Ethnographic museum, which use to be the palace of Emperor Hailesellase. To wrap up you drive to merkato, the biggest market in East Africa. Overnight in Addis.

Day 02: Fly Addis – Mekele – Drive Hawzen

You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Mekele. Be met upon arrival and drive to Hawzen visiting en route the semi rock-hewn church of Wukro Cherkos. Then Abraha Atsbeha, the first church in Ethiopia. Its interior is painstakingly decorated. Finally you will have a stop at Dugum Sellase. Overnight in Hawazen.

Day 03: Excursion to Debre Tsion Mariam & Yohannes Makudi

This day you will have an excursion to Debre Tsion Abune Abreham Monastery which entirely carved from the living rock. Visit and proceed to Yohannes Makudi, one of the early Ethiopian Coptic Christian churches which is accessed via a narrow cleft between towering sandstone walls. Overnight in Hawzen.

Day 04: Excursion to Abune Yemata

After having your breakfast you will drive to the foot of Geraltha to visit the monastery of Debre Mariam Korkor, which dated back 6th century. After a few minutes’ walk from Mariam korkor you can visit the small rock church known as Abba Daniel’s Prayer room. Then drive back to Hawzien. Overnight in Hawzen.

Day 05: Drive Hawzen – Mekele – Fly Addis

This day you will drive to Mekele in order to catch your flight to Addis.  In the evening attend a folkloric dinner where you will have a chance to taste several national dishes and watch dances of the various ethnic groups of Ethiopia. The traditional coffee ceremony will also be served.  Later you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.

03. Bahar Dar

Day 1 : Fly to Bahir dar

After breakfast we pick you up at the hotel and then get a brief about your full day boat trip. Our representative/ guide will take you to the harbor and heading to the outlet of the Blue Nile River. Along the way you will enjoy birds and fishermen with Tankwa (a vessel boat that made of Cyprus papyrus plant). Later continue to Narga Silassie church and coming back you will visit Betre Mariam and Ura Kidane Mihiret churches.
What to see and experience:
• 3:30 hours boat reed (one way)
• 30-40 minutes’ walk though coffee plantation and evergreen church forests
• Visit 3 beautiful monasteries
• Watch birds, hippos and fishermen. Finally return to Bahir Dar.

Day 2 : Bahir Dar – Blue Nile Fall

After breakfast excursion to Blue Nile fall. Later you would see Grace Center. Grace is one of the famous foundations in Bahir Dar. It helps women and families. They have daycare so that impoverished mothers can work and not have to abandon their children (orphan prevention).
They work to keep families together by searching for and assisting single parents while encouraging them to become self sufficient. And they also have children’s home foster homes for children who are not able to be reunified with birth family. For these children they work to have them adopted locally by Ethiopians and also help children growing up in prison.
What to see and experience:
• Drive on unpaved road
• Visit water fall
• Visit Grace Center School, Children, their day care program, small business jewelry and bag making, Small business sewing, after school care program, Children’s temporary care home.

Overnight at reserved hotel bahir dar

Next day at the morning we we will drop you to bahir dar airport to catch your flight back to Addis.

04. Gonder
Day 1 :
Flight to Gondar – Royal Castles – Debre Birhan Selassie Church

Flight to Gondar Welcome by our guide and minivan for airport transfer. Check into a hotel. Visit to the Royal Castles (built in the 17th Century A.D.), the Bath of Emperor Fasiledes, the Historic Debre Birhan Selassie Church, the Castle of Empress Mintewab, and Kuskwam Mariam Church (the bones of the Empress and princes rests in a glass coffin). Lunch break. Time at leisure. Dinner. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 2 :
Flight to Addis

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for a flight back to Addis

05. Lalibela
Day 1- Fly to Lalibela 

Rock-Hewn Churches of Lalibela In the morning, fly north to Lalibela and be transferred to your hotel. After lunch, visit the first group of Lalibela Churches which are located north of a small stream named Jordan River. These Churches were carved during the time of King Lalibela (1181 – 1221) and are registered by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Over night at reserved hotel

Day 2- Visit second group churches of Lalibela 

After breakfast, have an excursion trip to the cave-built church of Ne’akuto Le’ab (13th Century AD) which is famous for its wide collection of ancient crosses, manuscripts, and icons. If this day is Saturday, spare some time at the interesting weekly market of Lalibela. After lunch, visit the second and third group of churches of Lalibela. In the city of Lalibela you will see about Eleven Rock Churches organized into groups of three.
